another macro flower photo

I have been trying once again to use my new macro lens, we have some flowers bursting out with the beginning of spring. Since I do not have anything to show you of my sculptures at this time I thought I would share my other love with you , photography. Spring is in the Air in Georgia

The weather here is just gorgeous, a good day to run around barefoot in the grass. I have been trying to use my new lens for macro photos but no bugs are around yet. I have found though that I can not hold it still without a tripod, I did manage to get a couple that were okay but most were not as crisp as I wanted them to be. Here is a photo that I did like though of my miniature peach tree bloom.

I have received 2 beautiful gifts from the OWOH event so far, one was a lovely hand sewn heart with charms on it, so pretty along with some ATC cards that were gorgeous, thanks a bunch.
The other was a lovely collection of vintage papers, some gorgeous handmade card prints, and a doodler book, great gifts, I truly appreciate the chance to win and most of all I appreciate meeting all of you bloggers out there.

A rat or what

Now that the owoh is over and our prizes are on the way to their new homes, I wanted to share what I have been working on for another blog that I am a member of, this one is called Touring babies and we all make something and mail to to someone on the list and they do something to it and send to the next person, we all do this and we all work on each others sculpts, in the end they come back to us completely transformed with a little of each of us incorporated in. Last time I sent a baby , this time I wanted to do something different so am sending this critter, I think he is cute now even though he is rough around the joints LOLOL I plan to work on that some more, It will be really exciting seeing him or her transform as it travels along its journey across America.
check back for my next creations I am wetting my feet in sculpting other things, this time it is heads and torsos :( yikes I need lots of practice on both

Hi I am Barb of BabesbyBarb, I enjoy creating babies from polymer clay. I love to take photos, quilt, and many other hobbies but sculpting is my favorite of all my hobbies. Wee little Red Head

I wanted to share my latest little red head with you. This little girl is very sweet , I have not found a name for her, but have to soon cause she is going to Etsy. I have a hard time parting with them when I bond with them and something about the red heads just makes me want to put her in my curio with my other collectibles . I hope that she makes you smile.
