monkey hands

I am presently working on a monkey baby as well as a tiny baby, I have the heads done just need to get the arms and legs finished, I will have photos to show hopefully tomorrow. Easter was great here, my grandkids had a good time searching for the easter eggs as we all stood around giving them hints, then they used these super large bubble wands to blow bubbles into the wind, It was a good day. Shrek is complete

I think this one is cute, it makes me smile sometimes it fun to do something just cause you want to do it, I lucked up and found a exact color of material for her body in my stash of material. I am not sure what I will do with her, she is laying with my monster now

Shrek

I decided I would do something different and fun aside from the babies so I made a Shrek baby, she is sweet. I still have to put her together on a body but here is a sneak peak of her with a dress covering, I will take more photos of her as soon as she is completed, isn't she cute.
it was a beautiful sunny day today the flowers are starting to bloom here and we even rode around with the top down, spring time is here, yipee

Poor Sam

I am still waiting to make Sam his body, he has all his limbs and I reworked his cheeks where one side was bigger, but then my flighty mind got to researching making BJD dolls and that is what I have been doing the past 2 days, I promise I will get Sam done and dressed soon and share him with you all

reworking Sam

after showing my Sam head to a very dear friend of mine that I respect oh so much she told me that his face was chubbier on one side so after I made him some legs I added more clay to one side of his face, he is cooling in the cooker now so I am hoping all went well and he is more even sided now :)
I will share him when he is finished.

Sams head

I finally got Sams head finished, today should have been spent making him some limbs but instead I went to JoAnns and added to my fabric stash, they had one of those sales that just drags you in and empties your purse. I bought some yummy baby fabrics to make some minature doll quilts geared toward the OOAKs, Now I just need to get started making them, I think this will make a fun project
