what ya think

here is my latest 2 heads one is made from prosculpt and one from a mix of fimo classic and translucent, there is a lot of difference in the coloration on these 2 babies, to me the prosculpt one is a bit dark and the fimo one is pale but I know they will both look real cute once they are colored, I have limbs cooling for the sleeper now and the cryer is waiting on his/her limbs

2 new heads

today I took a break from my bjds in progress and made 2 new heads, I will get photos to share soon so check back, one is a cryer and one is just a sleeper, it feels good when you get the heads done, you know you are on your way to having a baby or 2 :)

Little elf girl

I finished my elf girl she is my very first bjd and is kind of rough around the edges, she was my learning block of what not to do with the bjd dolls, she is made of polymer clay and kind of cute in an elfish way, hopefully I will get better at them the more I do

Elf in the works

I have been busy trying to learn to do ball jointed dolls, I am working on one in air dry clay and another one in polymer clay. I wanted to give you a sneak peak at my little elf, I have test strung it today to see how well it works, and found that it has a few bugs, so tomorrow I will take it apart again and work on them as well as paint it and add hair, I am liking this little elf fella and hope that you do as well

I know it has been a long time since I have posted, I have many projects going on, I am working on a bjd from air dried clay and another jointed doll not sure if it will be balljointed or not from polymer clay. This has kept me busy cause the air dry clay you can only do so much then you have to let it dry in between and I am trying to figure out the joints and how they move together. I am using Yoshidas book on ball jointed dolls its a great asset.
I will post in progress photos later on so you can see what I am up to :)

meet monkey

Here is my latest monkey baby, I am going to leave her without fur cause I see her as a new monkey that has not had time to get her fur grown in good yet and I love the pinkish tone of her skin, I am undecided yet as to what I will do with this one,
