Rebecca
It has been a while since I have posted here, I have been super busy with the holidays and all, I finally have another doll to share with you all here, Her name is Rebecca she is my 2nd attempt at making the poseable child dolls. Rebecca is sculpted on a wire frame so she can be gently posed, I had fun creating this little girl. Now Rebecca is going home with a special lady that is my swap partner. She is winging her way to her new home now. I hope she makes you smile as much as she did me when I was creating her

mt latest little sleeping boy Joseph
It has been a while since I have posted here, I have been busy with geneology and babysitting the grandkids, I finally found time to finish another baby, this one was supposed to be a challenge baby but was too late, I had a good time making him though and think he turned out pretty sweet.
I named him Joseph, that is what he looks like to me.

Sierra
It has been a while since I have posted here, I have been real busy with this art doll as well as working on some other projects, she is finally finished so i wanted to put her here to show anyone that may not see her on the group I made her with.
Sierra is 16 inches tall and my first shot at making an art doll this big, the only other one I have done is the toddler I did a while back, remember Audrey :)
I hope you enjoy her, I see lots of things I could have done differently but its all a learning curve and we learn by our mishaps

facelift
I recently took my baby from my last post to Idex, and a few friends gave me some great tips on how to make it more babyish, I came home and took off his legs and removed his hair and added to his head and took some off his legs :)
now he is so much cuter. I will post photos of before and after so you can compare for yourself.
Sometimes things that we know gets buried when we are creating and others can remind us gently and we learn from it
I hope you enjoy my new version of this little guy, I even think it can be a little girl now, what do you think, the top 2 are from the newest baby, the bottom 2 are before I reworked him

Babies at last
it took me a while but I finally got the baby head turned into a baby and I think he is a boy, the other tiny baby I found her a new outfit that was crocheted for me by a friend Stephanie, it fits her so cute,
I am going to Idex for the show this weekend and taking these 2 with me just to have something I made along for showing to friends I meet there.
I am still looking for names for them both

a little old and a bit of New
I hope you all are having a wonderful New Year, and that this year will bring us all much love, happiness, good health and make us all better artists too.
I have photos of my last baby of 2008 and the head of the first baby in 2009 that is a work in progress.
I am not real good at the tinies but am determined to learn them, so will do them occasionally in between my bigger babies. These 2 have no names yet and the head I am not even sure of its gender although I am thinking boy, what do you think???
